About St. Mark’s
We are a confessional and liturgical congregation where the Gospel is proclaimed in Word and Sacrament each Sunday.
We are a small congregation with big hearts. The beauty of the Gospel is proclaimed each week in Word and Sacrament. Come and experience the traditional Lutheran Divine Service in all its solemnity and beauty. Using the Lutheran Service Book, we are committed to the exclusive use of the Historic Liturgy of the Church.
Our Faith
St. Mark is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
As such the norm of our life together is the Bible, the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe, teach and confess these to be the inspired Word of God.
We believe, teach and confess the three Ecumenical Creeds – The Apostle’s Creed, The Nicene and the Athanasian – as faithful testimonies to the truth of the Scriptures. We also reject all the errors they condemn.
We believe, teach and confess that the Lutheran Book of Concord contains a true exposition of Scripture and a correct exhibition of the doctrine of the Evangelical Church. These are collectively called the Lutheran Confessions.
Following both Scripture and the Confessions, our life together is a gathering around The Word and the Sacraments through which we receive the grace of Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the promise of life eternal.
